This tester is suitable for determining the flash point and ignition point of viscous petroleum asphalt, coal tar pitch and liquid petroleum asphalt materials with a flash point above 79℃ by using the Cleveland open cup method. Its working principle is to load the sample into the Cleveland open cup and heat it at a specified heating rate. When the mixture gas formed by the sample vapor and the surrounding air contacts the flame and flashes, the lowest temperature is the flash point. Continue heating. When the sample contacts the flame and can continuously burn for not less than 5 seconds, the lowest temperature is the ignition point.
